My fur baby has stayed here 4 times she absolutely loves it the staff are so friendly they listened to everything i had to say about her food and playtime needs i drop her off and she dont look back would never leave her anywhere else she just loves her stay and she's a rottie

After visiting multiple kennels - The Grove was by far the best, clean and all the staff were ultra friendly. My Shiphoo has now been a regular for a few years now and is so excited when we pull up. He has always come back ultra healthy and fit and not smelly (unlike other experiences we have had) - after an unexpected stay in hospital after a 4 week holiday, Lyndsay and the team were ultra accommodating and I knew my boy was being cared for and looked after whilst I was stressed the other side of the world. It was one thing less to worry about knowing that Loki was in a safe place with his favourite Sophie :)

Our beautiful gentle Leonberger Lola is our pride and joy so before entrusting her to any Doggy Daycare or Boarding hotel I had visited quite a few before we chose The Grove. The location is great, just off the M6 Toll in Lichfield. The kennels are super clean and well set up. The staff are really friendly and genuinely take an interest in the dogs. They looked after Lola and sent me pictures and a video of her while we were away. Their drop off/pick up times are really great and the best thing of all Lola came out of there looking like she'd had a ball!

I would give 10 stars in I could. My boy Beau never went anywhere else. He loved his time at the Grove. Sadly we lost Beau earlier this year due to old age. When its time for us to get another best friend I would have no hesitations to let Rob, Linsay and the amazing team look after them.

Wouldn’t leave my dogs anywhere else. About 7yrs ago I turned up & asked to look around as I’d viewed a few places that were not up to standard. Here, I was instantly impressed. I’d not booked & they accommodated my viewing without hesitation. Rooms spacious, half underfloor heated, half cool tiled… separate garden areas & a big play area for recreation time, upvc glass doors… no prison bars. They will cook if your dog has a specific diet, upkeep training routines… provide toys & beds if you forget… there is nothing these people won’t do to accommodate your dogs! Security seemed tight too which was reassuring.

We only go away once a year & when I call they always remember who my dogs are as soon as I mention their names, that’s such a nice touch. Love this place! You need to book a year in advance though, if your away during high season times… they get booked up quick!

Can’t fault this kennels, small details such as cleaning the bowls out and the lovely photos and updates you receive. Jack and Harry were extremely helpful and very friendly. We took our dog Haska to visit and see if she would settle in, they both attended to her straight away and were so kind and gentle with her. It was extremely clean, even the fields where the dogs play and the bedrooms were completely suitable and much better than your regular kennel of cages. Our dog is a very nervous and cautious dog around people she doesn’t know, but instantly was calm and relaxed around both of them. Everyone who we saw on site looked so happy to do their job and sounded extremely passionate. Bonus point is how secure the building is and the surrounding areas. We’ve booked 2 weekends and can’t wait to have Haska enjoy herself in an extremely dog loving passionate kennel that clearly looks after it’s clients and doggies!

Zak & Daisy love uncle Rob & Auntie Lyndsey so much, the mere mention of your going on your holidays sends our westies into a frenzy of excitement. The comfort of going away knowing your babies are in the best hands possible is such a relief and enables you to fully enjoy your time away. Our westies enjoy heated floors, sofa, tv, a separate bedroom their own little run in the garden. Cant praise the grove enough

Brilliant Kennels
We have used The Grove over many years with our late collies They were well trained and loved it there. So when they sadly passed away we had a period of no dogs.

We eventually had a rescued Shih tzu cross George, that had been badly treated and needed tender love and care. We've owned him now for 3 years and he's turned into a wonderful dog. But still nervous sometimes and clingy.

So when we had to put him into Kennels we were apprehensive The Grove was our first choice. They were Brilliant. The staff were fantastic looking after him. He made lots of doggy friends and from photos sent. had the time of his life. It means if we have to put him in Kennels in the future we know he will be fine.

So thank you Lindsey Rob and staff for looking after George. We would Highly Recommend The Grove. as would George

Our golden retriever, Amber, loves it here. She is only 18 months old. She had a stay for one day and night as a trial prior to our 2 week holiday. When we returned to drop her for the holiday, she couldn't wait to get through the doors and out to socialise with the other dogs! Staff have kept us up to date whilst we were away and sent pictures of her having such fun with the other pooches. The staff are all fabulous and genuinely care for and enjoy the dog's company. We wouldn't send her anywhere else! Queuing in the foyer, waiting to drop off and pick up your dog, whilst chatting to others, all of the other clients say the same thing. Their dogs have been coming for 10+ years. Need you look anywhere else?!

We have been using the Grove for nearly as long as they have been open. What can you say about the kennels, other than they are of an extremely high quality both in structure, but also in the care and love the staff give to your dog's. I have said many times that I have been away from home with work and stayed in worse accomodation. I know both our dogs love going and pull to get in! Nuff said 😀

We visited The Grove today with our Rommie rescue Albie and we were blown away by how friendly and receptive everyone was! Our boy is very nervous but he instantly relaxed and we know that moving forward this will be his holiday home when we go on our adventures! So pleased we've found this place!!

What an absolutely delightful place this is. We were greeted on arrival by the owner Lindsay. Our romanian rescue dog is nervous around strangers but Lindsay was so calming that our boy was very settled throughout the visit.

Lindsay showed us around and took us into the beautiful airy rooms that our dog would be staying in. The room was bright and beautiful with underfloor heating which made it so cosy. Not your typical prison like kennels that so many places seem to be. We then went outside and we were able to see the exercise area and we were encouraged to let our dog off to explore. HE LOVED IT.

The dogs that were boarding there were happy and free to play in a secure field next. Our boy was so happy and relaxed, we spent a lot of time talking to Lindsay who also has a romanian rescue dog with similar traits to ours and so she understood our anxieties very well.

This is a beautiful place whete the love for dogs is so evident! We have found the best place for our precious boy to stay.

I can't say how brilliant the grove is. My two dogs Dottie and Buddy love going to the grove and snuggle up on the heated floors and play with their new friends. In the snow this weekend the grove staff were so supportive because I was worried about getting back to pick the dogs up.
I was assured the dogs were happy and safe and would be looked after until I could get back. This peace if mind is invaluable.
I would recommend the grove 100%.

We took our anxious Golden Retriever, Douglas for a trial day. He had a warm welcome, and when we collected him 6 hours later he ignored us and raced behind the reception desk for fuss! That says it all really, we’ll definately be trying an overnight stay soon

What an amazing place, we have been so lucky to be introduced to you. Having used a kennel for several years, we were so impressed with everything at The Grove. The staff are so caring, the dogs are treated like their own pets with plenty of playtime sessions and cuddles. The actual kennels are so well equipped, unlike my previous knowledge of a kennel these have lovely under floor heated inside bedrooms, such comfort.
Yes, the cost is slightly higher than a “standard” kennel but well worth it for the attention and care. I would highly recommend and will not look elsewhere.

There aren't enough words to express how grateful we are to the Grove and in particular Sam.

Our two miniature dachshunds Basil & Polly are rescues, were abused, abandoned & never socialised and thus very fearful and reactive to people & dogs.

Sam and the team have shown extraordinary patience and kindness to our two, and have won their trust gently. They have been out to play and look so happy and relaxed, and the updates we have received have allowed us to enjoy our break without worrying (our first in 2 years without the dogs!)

We would definitely recommend the Grove to anyone wishing to board their dogs but who have concerns. The team are patient, understanding, work from a place of kindness, and the facilities and rooms are great; giving your dogs plenty of their own space and a sense of safety.

OMG OMG I'm an over obsessive momma to my girls Nancy-Lulu and Ruby-dooby. I HAD to kennel them due to my cancer surgery 27th May 2021. Lindsay made sure she put my mind at ease by sending photos and videos of my girls!!! Nancy-Lulu found herself a b/f and Ruby-dooby showed off her leadership skills 🤭🤭🤭🤭😘🥰🥰🥰🥰 I recommend The Grove 110% for giving the best personal individual service to my baby girls!!!!! We send both our puggles to the Grove. We would only send our furbabies to a place where we feel they are safe, happy and cared for. The Grove is the place. All the staff are friendly to both us and the puggles. on arrival the puggles cant wait to go through and play. The tail wagging says it all. There are no other kennels we would consider

I absolutely love taking my old fat man to the grove for his holidays, I’m very protective of Bagel as he was found outside a bagel shop in Romania - hence the name 😂

I feel so much more comfortable leaving him with the staff as they always reassure us that he will be okay. Bagel can be snappy with new people but we can’t believe how well he gets on with all staff including men!

100% worth the money it’s definitely home from home, thank you so much for looking after him, can’t wait to pick him up next Monday! The staff are all so professional and do everything they can to make your dogs feel relaxed ❤️

We’ve been using these kennels for maybe a couple of years now. Loki loves it there so much that we call it “camp” rather than kennels!

Every member of staff we have encountered obviously loves dogs. It shows in his behaviour when we drop him (not a backward glance!) and when we pick him up. They’re also very good with the owners.

We wouldn’t dream of leaving him anywhere else and if they can’t fit us in, we don’t go away!

Cannot praise highly enough. Very grateful to them for looking after him - and us - so well.

My dogs had an extended stay at The Grove, whilst my wife has been at multiple hospitals due to ongoing health issues.

3 weeks in all and they are happy, healthy and as bouncy as ever. Also extremely chilled out now back at home.

I cannot recommend these kennels enough. They go out of their way to look after the dogs in their care as they truly appreciate that these are close members of your family.

Photo updates of the dogs during their stay were a lovely bonus and helped when spirits were low in hospital. Excellent facilities, brilliantly friendly staff. Thank you so much xxx

We had originally booked both our dogs to stay but less than a week before our old Dogue de Bordeaux passed away, we really didn’t know what to do for the best for Churchill our British bulldog, the grove were very understanding and reassured us that he would be well looked after and have lots of fun and make new friends, he honestly seems to have loved it there he seemed so happy when we picked him up, and the fact we could call and get sent photos of him really put our minds at ease. Would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to board their dog there

Yogi's first time in a kennels and he loved it he came back looking well and very happy he had 5* treatment with plenty of play time and exercise which is essential for a Siberian husky with plenty of energy to burn. My two dogs Tom and Ted love it at the Groves Rob collects them and they can't wait to get in the car to go, they are so excited. If we drop them off, they drag us into reception and when we collect them, we are sure they are disappointed they are not stopping longer. They are always excited to go and are always happy dogs, when they come back home, so we know they love it and are looked after well.
